On December 14th, five of our members got the exciting opportunity to speak to students at Harrison County Career and Technical Center! It was a great experience for everyone involved! The mentors each got to meet with five groups of marketing students and share their insights and inspirations abotu goals, values and other practical career advice.
We want to thank Harrison County Schools for allowing us to come out and interact with a new generation of leaders, and we'd also like to thank Lori West (Executive Director, South Mississippi Humane Society), Linda Watts (Retired, Mississippi Power), Dr. Monica Marlowe (Chief Advancement Officer, William Carey University - Tradition Campus), Geneve Dummer (Owner/Operator, The Meeting Place, LLC) and Cindy Walker (CEO, United Way of South Mississippi) for representing the Women's Leadership Council so well!
Check out some pictures from the event below, and stay tuned for infor on a return visit because we can't wait to do it again!
