Alternative Spring Break
Team Leaders Arrive
Alternative Spring Break (ASB) is returning to South Mississippi for a seventh year! ASB is an annual program hosted by United Way of South Mississippi and supported by United Way Worldwide, which brings together college and university students from all across the country to advance the common good, reach out a hand to one and influence the condition of all.
In 2012, 58 students from 30 colleges in 23 states arrived in South Mississippi to spend the week serving with local agencies including Boys and Girls Clubs, Lynn Meadows Discovery Center, Youth Build, Salvation Army, Hope CDA, and the Land Trust of Gulf Coast Mississippi.
